Your interests, your social life and your friends

At Hill House, we take care to find out what you really enjoy doing. Together we will create a plan of activities you enjoy and introduce you to other residents who share these.

Typical activities include quizzes, scrabble, craft club, flower arranging, painting, gardening, memorabilia and reminiscence sessions, visiting musicians, mini golf, bingo, skittles, seat based exercise groups, animal therapy including visits from PAT dogs and falconry and seasonal events such as pantomimes, fireworks, Easter events and visits from local children’s choirs at Christmas. In fact, a whole range of ways to have fun in your new home and stay socially active.

We love to celebrate birthdays and special occasions! We keep families involved with our regular newsletter.

Our reward is to see our residents living happy, full and independent lives. Often, that is simply a matter of enabling people to see their family and friends regularly and stay up to date with what’s going on in their lives.

We actively encourage friends and family to take part in the regular activities and events we hold at Hill House and to talk to us about their loved one.

Visitors are welcome at any time.
